We opened the doors in 2005 after The Plough had been closed for 7 years. Friends and family thought we were out of our minds, thankfully they continue to support us. We believe that this 15th century building nestled in the beautiful North Bedfordshire Wolds is where we belong.
We have had an amazing career with the opportunity to work and rub shoulders with some of the most inspirational people in our industry. We pay regular homage to our suppliers who continue to inspire us with their unabated passion to provide produce and service that is exceptional; it is quite humbling and it makes our work of being chefs and restaurateurs an absolute pleasure.
In the kitchen you’ll find a dedicated team of professional chefs, they deliver seasonal menus brimming with sumptuous flavours. Protecting the skills of our industry is really important to our team; skills which have evolved over the years and are the backbone of our kitchen.
Caring for your wellbeing, comfort and pleasure is at the heart of our Service Team, who will ensure that your welcome and experience is buoyed with attentive but unfussy service from the moment you arrive to the time you depart.
