About us
We are an independent and family run restaurant who care about our guests’ individual experiences. We set high standards for ourselves and strive to achieve them.
Our customer care also extends to looking after our team. Without the people who work with us and who take such pride in their work, we cannot run this amazing place. We believe that good restaurants get three things absolutely right; food, service and ambiance. Every positive review, every lovely comment we receive from our guests is down to our team and the welcoming atmosphere, quality food and drink and caring service they provide.
Our industry can be a transient one and we recognise that people do move around, particularly those who join our team for a temporary period while studying or visiting the UK. However we pride ourselves that even the majority of our temporary team actually do extend their time with us -and that really does say it all!
About you
You’ll have experience in the restaurant industry, Or not. Actually for at least some of the positions, it really doesn’t matter to us if you have worked in the industry or not. What does matter is your attitude. You’ll be friendly, confidant and approachable team-player with an absolute drive to be the best you can be, no matter what your role is with us. You’ll bring a positive can-do attitude and infectious levels of energy and enthusiasm.
Different roles will require different levels and types of experience of course but as we have said before, the ability to look after our guests and put customer care at the top of your ‘to do’ list is essential.
What can we offer you
No matter what role you do with us, whether temporary or permanent, full or part time you’ll receive:
We offer a lively and caring environment working with a diverse group of people, an opportunity to learn from our team success and to contribute to our business growth.
Things you need to know
We are based in a relatively rural location so you’ll need to be able to get here – either being able to drive with access to a vehicle or having someone who can drop you off and collect you (hopefully without being grumpy about it!).
If you’re not based in the local area but you think we could be the place for you to come and work, let us know – we can provide some relocation assistance if necessary.
If you are living in our staff accommodation in Bedford then transport can be arranged.
